Landlord EPC compliance

Many Landlords have adopted a practice of replacing expired EPCs between when their current Tenants vacate and before new Tenants arrive. This may be non-compliant with the new Landlord licence requirements, which require EPCs to be kept up to date.

Landlords may also not be aware of the new EPC assessment process. RdSAP EPC assessment can take 50% longer to complete. Many EPC providers have significantly increased their prices.

By purchasing an EPC directly from the Assessor. Landlords are not paying the commissions taken by letting agents and companies that employ or subcontract assessors. This means there are considerable savings.
